Want to protect your eyes, look stylish and maybe even improve your game? We know you want to be able to see the ball and read the greens properly. Take a look at what we suggest, with the following features.

  • Fit: For sports especially, choose a pair of sunglasses that fits snugly, so that you are not getting sunlight leaking in from above or below. Have them fitted and adjusted professionally so that they stay on while you play.
  • UV Protection/Polarising Lenses: Protect your eyes from harmful UVA/UVB rays or choose a polarising option to reduce glare and enhance colour and contrast. This option is highly recommended and also comes with 100% UV protection.
  • Lens Colour: Choose a lense colour most suitable to the conditions in which you play, see specific brand recommendations below.
  • Style: It is a personal preference, but most golfers agree, having a rimless or semi-rimless frame means that you won't have the distraction of the frame when lining up a putt or keeping score.

Maui Jim

Maui Jim's are a big favorite with the pro golfers, and as far as lense technology goes, they have you covered.

While all of their four lense types are excellent, Maui Jim specifically recommend their Maui HT (High Transmission) lense which is designed to help you see sharper contrast and more vibrant colour. This heightens depth of field so that even in low light, you will have great clarity. The white golf ball will really pop against the darker, green grass. Espcially good early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
